Chelsea Aim To Defy Expectations
The Premier League is well and truly in full swing and this weekend, we’ll see another chapter of the 2018/19 season being written as Chelsea prepare to go head to head with Newcastle United. The two teams had turbulent summer periods to say the least and many of their respective fans were a little bit cautious heading into the campaign, but after two games, things haven’t gone quite as badly as they would’ve expected –
Emery’s Gunners Can Land First League Win in Style
When Unai Emery read the Premier League fixtures he was probably wondering who he had upset, with Arsenal up against Manchester City and Chelsea in their first two games. There is no real hunger for immediate success under Emery this season, but despite that he would have loved to have a much easier start to gain some confidence and get the fans on his side. Arsenal lost both of those two games, but they now head into a far easier spell beginning this Saturday and they will be looking to put a winning run together.

Rangers Can Make Home Advantge Count at Ibrox
Rangers are one step away from making the Europa Leauge group stages and they have been handed a winnable tie, which begins tonight when they face Russian side UFA in the first leg in Scotland. If Rangers are to win this tie then they have to take advantage of their home game this week, the trip to Russia will not be easy for them and it is imperative that they take some kind of advantage with them.

Middlesbrough Can Edge Clash of the Championship Big Guns
There are many teams fighting for promotion from the Championship this season and two of them are Middlesbrough and West Brom. Both are ex-Premier League clubs who are trying to get back into the big time, with West Brom having their first year down in the Championship after relegation last season. Both have spent big this summer in an attempt to get back into the big time, and anything other than a top six finish would probably be seen as a disappointment for them.

Bolton Can Continue Winning Start against Winless Birmingham
It has been a surprising, but very good start to the new season for Bolton Wanderers and they can continue that start with another win on Wednesday when Birmingham travel to face them. Many people expected Bolton to be involved in a relegation battle once again this season, but if their recent form is anything to go by then they look set to be well clear of the drop.
With two wins and a draw from their opening three games they currently sit in 6th which is the final play off place.

Bristol City Can Take Advantage of Poor QPR
The start of the Championship campaign has been very disappointing for Bristol City, but they can finally get their first win of the season on Tuesday night. They travel to QPR, a team who have been disappointing themselves and come here on the back of a dreadful 7-1 defeat to West Brom. While neither have been performing well so far, Bristol City are by far the better team in this game and they look a good bet in the second tier of English football on Tuesday.

Will Liverpool’s Rise Continue?
In the wake of another series of fantastic Premier League action last night, we’re all set to continue that trend throughout both today and tomorrow as the remaining top flight sides round off the second matchday of fixtures. One such game that will have many eyes on it is the clash between Crystal Palace and Liverpool at Selhurst Park, which always tends to be a fixture that’s riddled with excitement from the first minute until the very last.
When The Spurs Go Marching In
The Premier League is back in full force, with several high-profile matches going down last weekend. Several of the big teams got off to a winning start, and now, they’ll be aiming to build some momentum in what is arguably one of the toughest leagues in world football. Of course, some teams are more fortunate than others when it comes to the luck of the draw, and Tottenham Hotspur were certainly fortunate to escape their opening day fixture against Newcastle United with three points intact.
Manchester United to beat Brighton
Manchester United began their Premier League title challenge with a win at home to Leicester City last weekend. They have a lot of hard work ahead of them if they are to challenge their rivals Manchester City, but started well enough and they have the chance to build on that this Sunday.
Chelsea favourites to win the London derby
We have seen many top quality battles between Chelsea and Arsenal during the Premier League era and this weekend we look set for another. These two have often found themselves competing against each other, usually for the league title and although that may be a stretch this season, both are still expected to compete at the top end of the Premier League table.
Swansea to beat Birmingham
Of the three teams to come down to the Championship from the Premier League, Swansea have been the least spoken about. People have mentioned the chances of both West Brom and Stoke making the jump back to the top flight at the first time of asking, but Swansea appear to have slipped under the radar a little.
