Tottenham Worth Opposing as Troubles Continue

Tottenham fans that were hoping to see their team bounce back after the international break on Saturday were left disappointed when their team needed a late equaliser to draw 1-1 at home with Watford. This has been a poor start all round for the North London club as their troubles within the camp continue.

This isn’t an issue based around personnel and how good their players are, this is to do with team harmony and morale, both seriously lacking at the moment. We have heard stories of players falling out, some wanting to move and even rumours that boss Mauricio Pochettino has lost the dressing room. What the actual truth is we may never find out, but whatever it is, right now it is affecting Tottenham Football Club very badly.

It isn’t just their league form that is struggling either, Spurs are yet to win in the Champions League after an away draw with Olympiakos and a home defeat to Bayern Munich. Red Star were beaten in Bayern on the opening night but did pick up three valuable points at home to Olympiakos during the last game round, and they are the ones currently holding onto 2nd place going into game week 3.

If you take a look at the players likely to play in this fixture then Tottenham should have far too much quality for Red Star Belgrade, even more so because they are playing the game at home too. However, with the way that Spurs are playing right now, can they be trusted to put a performance together good enough to win this?
