That tournament saw Russian hooligans attack English fans on many occasions, and many of those feared for even worse than that when entering the Russian backyard for this tournament.

So far we have seen little if any trouble reported by the media in the entire tournament, including when England have been playing. However, this is too late, and the majoirty of England fans are enjoying the action from their own towns and cities around the country.

While this has meant fewer fans in the stadiums cheering England on, it has brought a fantastic atmosphere to the country and we have seen many great scenes from up and down the land showing England fans celebrating. With scenes like that becoming more frequent as the World Cup develops, is now the time to declare that England fans are the best in the world?
